Our daily changing recipes are made from scratch & served fresh to order. It's the little things we do that make the difference, from slicing fresh banana onto our morning porridge, to giving our unsold food to charity at the end of the day.

If there's one thing that brings us more pleasure than making food, it's sharing it. From a smiley face on your morning latte, to free tasters of whatever's cooking - We love to see friendships being made and days being brightened.

At EAT. we want to reduce food waste and make a positive impact on our local communities.

The vast majority of our shops work with local charity partners to redistribute food left over at the end of each day. Our biggest charity partner is FareShare, who collect from many EAT.’s across London and take the food to homeless shelters and other charities across town. This helps to keep food out of landfill and to feed vulnerable people who would otherwise go without.

This particular project, called ‘FareShareLate’, is in its 3rd year and provides a vital lifeline to 18 grassroots community projects. In a recent survey of beneficiaries, 93% found the service extremely valuable (the other 7% ‘quite valuable’) and this quote sums up why:

Many homeless people will not have anything to eat for the day, so thank you for the sandwiches. It would be very expensive for us to buy sandwiches as we don't get funding and depend on donations.

We are proud to work with all of our charity partners. FareShare is a unique charity tackling food waste and food poverty. 1 in 10 people in the UK live in deep poverty whilst 3.9 million tonnes of food a year is wasted by the food and drinks industry. They take good quality, in-date food which would otherwise have gone to waste and deliver it to 1,296 charities across the UK, each day helping to provide nutritious meals to 62,200 vulnerable men, women and children.

We proudly work with Roundhouse in Camden...

...an iconic music and performance venue also working with over 3,000 11-25 year-olds each year to help them realise their creative potential through opportunities in music, media and performing arts.

EAT. supports the GET IN ticket scheme for young people between the ages of 16 and 25. GET IN is free to join and gives members access to exclusive £5 tickets for selected gigs and shows every month at the Roundhouse. The scheme helps to ensure young people can engage with music and arts at an affordable price.
